How the nominees were selected
TopFICE is not a festival and has no jury. It is an independent advertising agency ranking that gathers the results published by advertising festivals, weighs them with a single methodology, the TopFICE Score, and presents them in one place.

This year’s nominees come from the awards won between October 16, 2025, and October 15, 2026, at 58 global, regional, local and specialist festivals where agencies from the region won. In each country, the agencies with the strongest results were nominated in two categories:

Agency of the Year: the agencies with the best overall results in their country.
Independent Agency of the Year: the best-performing agencies that do not belong to a global holding company.
Nominations are earned, not requested. Agencies are nominated on the strength of their results, whether or not they have registered.

Countries with nominees
Nominees were announced in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, the United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Why some countries have no nominees
If a country or a category does not show nominees, it does not mean there will be no winner. In some markets, one agency’s results stand clearly above the rest, which means there may be a direct winner. To protect the surprise, TopFICE does not reveal those cases in advance. They will be announced, along with every other winner, on November 23.

A year that reshaped the awards map
The 2026 nominations arrive after one of the most eventful years the advertising industry has seen. Omnicom completed its acquisition of IPG and reorganized its networks, and several agencies in the region began a new chapter as independents. TopFICE’s annual study shows how those changes played out in this year’s awards:

Omnicom moved to the top of the global groups after integrating IPG.
Independent agencies gained ground, rising from 25% to 35% of all points and winning 46 of the 134 Grand Prix and Titanium awards of the period.
The country map shifted: Canada and Mexico overtook Brazil, and Puerto Rico was one of the biggest climbers.
Beyond the nominations: all the 2026 categories
Agency of the Year and Independent Agency of the Year are the only categories with nominees. The rest of the 2026 categories go straight to the winners’ announcement: Digital, In-house, Production Company, Creative Boutique, Creative School, Breakthrough, Lighthouse, OOH, Advertising & Marketing Faculty, Innovation, Experiential / Promo & Activation, Relationship Marketing, Health, Design & Branding, Social Media & Creator, and PR/Communications.

A word from TopFICE
“Festivals each recognize agencies’ work on their own; what we do at TopFICE is bring all those results together so the full picture can be seen. This year that picture changed significantly, and we know advertisers are eagerly awaiting TopFICE’s results, because they want to know which agencies sustain their creative level across every stage, not just at one festival. We congratulate all the nominated agencies and invite them to follow the announcements in the coming weeks,” said Edgar Rodríguez, Director of TopFICE.
