Methodology

Methodology

The TopFICE ranking is built upon a structured, data-driven evaluation system designed to measure creative and strategic performance across the global Award Show ecosystem.

Strategic Scope

Each year, TopFICE selects the competitions included in the index based on their Geographic Scope (Global, Regional, National) and Specialization (General, Health, PR, Digital, etc.).

The Scoring Hierarchy

Points are assigned through a weighted matrix that considers:

The Award Level: Grand Prix, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Shortlist.

The Scale of Competition: Points are scaled according to whether the award show is National, Regional, or Global.

Specialized vs. Open: We distinguish between specialized niche awards and open, multi-category competitions.

The TopFICE Factor (Weighting)

Beyond base points, we apply a proprietary assessment to each award show. This ensures that winning in a highly competitive, world-renowned festival carries more weight than in emerging ones. We evaluate reputation, competitiveness, and media impact.

Neutrality & Review

Our methodology is reviewed annually to adapt to the evolving industry. As an independent entity, TopFICE guarantees a 100% transparent and neutral evaluation, free from the influence of any specific award show or media group.
